Fluera

For universities & high schools

Cognitive infrastructure
for the modern university.

Evidence-based study tools for your students. SSO for your IT. Faculty training on the cognitive science of learning. Pilots start with one class, one semester, no charge.

Why faculty are choosing Fluera

Three use cases we have conviction in.

01

Lecture capture

Students take handwritten notes on infinite canvas during lectures, with optional audio sync via Time Travel. The canvas becomes a living lecture archive that survives the semester.

02

Exam preparation at scale

Fog of War + Spaced Repetition turn the student's own canvas into a retrieval-practice engine. Faculty can recommend study routes per topic without prescribing content.

03

STEM lab notebooks

LaTeX rendering, pressure-sensitive diagrams, audio-synced experiment logs. Replaces paper notebooks while preserving the handwriting evidence students need for assessment.

License model

Three tiers. One phone call away.

We do not publish per-seat pricing for Education because the right structure depends on whether you're licensing a class, a faculty, or a campus. The conversation is short; we're good at it.

Class

One course, one semester, up to 200 students. Pro-level access for every student, a faculty dashboard, and one training session.

Typical: pilot

Faculty

Whole department. Multi-year contract. SSO, audit log, custom support SLA. Faculty training for every course that opts in.

Typical: year 2

Campus

University-wide. Dedicated deployment support, named engineering contact, joint research opportunities around the 12-step cycle.

Typical: year 3+

Faculty training

Two hours. The cognitive science, applied.

The workshop covers the 12-step learning cycle, the principles behind each step, and concrete patterns for integrating Fluera into existing coursework. It is not a product demo.

Delivered on-site or remote, capped at fifteen participants per session so that every instructor leaves with a plan for their own course.

What's covered

  • 01Spacing, retrieval, generation, desirable difficulties — the four pillars
  • 02The 12-step cycle mapped to your specific course structure
  • 03When to use Socratic, when to use Ghost Map, when to stay out of the way
  • 04Designing exam prep that uses Fog of War without replacing your assessments
  • 05The research, the evidence strength, and the edges of what the evidence supports
  • 06Hands-on: every instructor builds one lesson in Fluera before they leave

Deployment

Your IT should love us too.

SSO

SAML 2.0 and OIDC. Integrates with Shibboleth, Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace for Education.

MDM-friendly

Standard App Store / Play enterprise distribution. Windows and macOS as signed installers. No sideloading required.

Audit log

Immutable per-account access trail. Exportable for compliance reviews.

Data residency

EU-hosted by default. Data processing agreement available on request.

Accessibility

WCAG 2.1 AA target across all platforms. Screen reader support, high-contrast modes, adjustable brush fidelity for motor differences.

On-prem

Coming on the Enterprise roadmap. Currently: cloud-only with strong encryption and regional controls.

Pilot program

One class. One semester. No charge.

The fastest path to knowing whether Fluera works for your students is to try it with thirty of them, for a semester, free. In exchange we ask for structured feedback — a mid-term check-in, an end-of-term survey, and the option to share anonymised outcome data.

If it works, we talk about a multi-year contract. If it doesn't, you keep the data and we take the lesson. Either way, we both come out ahead.

What you get

  • Pro access for up to 30 students
  • Two-hour faculty training session
  • Direct founder channel for the semester
  • Anonymised aggregate analytics for your reporting
